About Brazen

If you ask most people to describe the perfect border collie, they would probably describe Brazen. She is from our breeding of Thatcher x Talent. She is super friendly with people, children, rude dogs, loves the cats, and is stable and confident everywhere that she goes. She can just as easily spend the day doing disc and dock diving as she can lounging on the couch smashing her little body against me in full cuddle mode.

Brazen is naturally gifted at disc even though I am not. She definitely gets that from her parents as both tally and Thatcher are amazing at disc. Brazen works really hard to catch every single one regardless of how about a throw it is and she really loves hopping up to catch it as well. We haven't had much time doing dock diving this year but she loves jumping off of the dock at the local boat ramp and she loves swimming and retrieving as well. I am sure that when we can get back to the dock in the spring, she'll be doing big jumps in no time.

My favorite thing about brazen is that she is incredibly friendly with everyone. She is not a loof with strangers nor is she super needy. She wiggles her body in a full C shape even if she just met the person. I also really appreciate that she is quite content to have two or three days off in a row of not doing any dog sports and she is completely content with that. She is so happy go lucky and playful that I often forget that she's already a year old and not a baby puppy anymore. She ignores the cats and the squirrels and her favorite activity is antagonizing her mother tally in order to get tally to play with her.

Pending health testing results, Brazen will be bred in 2025. I love her temperament and look forward to seeing how she contributes to my breeding program.
